Further CAFRE Introduction to Renewable Energy Workshops to be held
Cathal Ellis – College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (Greenmount Campus)
With the continuing rise in energy and fuel bills, CAFRE will deliver a further series of renewable energy workshops during March. These workshops aim to help farmers and growers understand more about existing and emerging renewable energy technologies and how they maybe adopted within their business.
The main technologies discussed will include - biomass heating systems, solar thermal water heating, wind power, heat pumps and Anaerobic Digestion
The workshops will take place at the following venues:
Tuesday 16 March at 7.30 pm in the Silver Birch Hotel, 5 Gortin Road , Omagh
Thursday 18 March at 2.00 pm in the Manor Suite, Greenmount Campus, Co.Antrim
Tuesday 23 March at 7.30pm in the Strangford Arms Hotel, Newtownards.
Thursday 25 March at 7.30 pm in the Best Western White Horse Hotel, 68 Clooney Road, Londonderry,
