Interested in farm diversification?
How can you bring that idea forward?
On Saturday next 11th November there will be a morning and afternoon session at Watertop Farm, Cushendall Road, Ballycastle looking at how to approach getting an alternative business established.
The Saturday  morning session will kick off at 11am and the afternoon session at 2pm.
Patsy McBride of Watertop Farm Ballycastle has vast experience gained over a lot of years of setting up, developing and managing an Open Farm.
Gerry Burns, who works for DARD as a Rural Connect adviser in Ballymoney  sees this as a valuable opportunity to learn from someone who has a track record in farm diversification:-
“ A lot of the same principles in terms of setting up and managing a business apply irrespective of what your business may be. This session on Saturday is a good opportunity to help you think through and clarify the way ahead.”
