Pamela Scott, Community Appeals Manager of the charity, thanked Greenmount Campus for the opportunity to fund raise at this year’s show, commenting that the £11,790 raised was far beyond their expectations.
The Country Show, which is organised by the staff at the Greenmount Campus of the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise took place on 24 and 25 June 2006 and had an attendance of 20,000 visitors. Featuring at the event were a range of agriculture, horticulture, food and rural attractions which catered for all ages including plant and craft sales, farm and exotic animals, vintage machinery and motoring displays.
