Single Farm Payments 2006 update

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) has advised that the receipt of 2006 IACS / Single Applications is proceeding smoothly.

Already, some 21,000 applications for the 2006 year have been received by DARD. Compared to last year, those delivering their applications to DARD offices have had fewer queries and have not needed to queue. The department does not intend to extend opening hours to receive applications but will keep arrangements under review. The department has written to all applicants who have not yet received an Entitlement Statement providing advice on how to complete their application.
