Sheep and goat keepers are reminded that they must return their annual inventory form to DARD by 30 June 2006.
This deadline applies to all flock keepers even if they currently have no sheep or goats on their holding.
The Annual Inventory form, which was issued to keepers in early December 2005, must be returned to DARD by 30 June 2006, either in the pre-paid envelope provided at the time or by delivering it to a local Divisional Veterinary Office. Alternatively, details can be entered on APHIS-on-line at RuralNi either directly or through an agent.
Note that those keepers who have already returned the inventory form in December 2005 or earlier this year do NOT have to complete another form at this time.
Keepers who have lost or misplaced their Annual Inventory form can obtain a copy from their local Divisional Veterinary Office.
It is important that details of the Annual Inventory returns are recorded in the Flock Register. The information provided to DARD will be used for any on-farm checks such as Cross Compliance and failure to provide this information may result in Single Farm Payment penalties.
