Look out for things changing. If you notice a new business or new idea creating a lot of interest see if you can do something similar in your locality. See if you can spot a farm related business that follows a new trend. If you hear of a farm enterprise developing in an unusual market ask yourself what service and product needs are being fulfilled. Can you do something similar?
Either inside or outside your locality look for changes in things like:
- What people eat, drink and wear
- What products are stocked in shops and supermarkets
- What new services are on offer
- Products or services that are not available near you
