All cattle should receive a balanced diet presented in a fresh, clean manner sufficient to maintain good health, anticipated milk production and reproductive demands.

Cattle must have free access to a fresh, clean, uncontaminated water supply of adequate quantity at all times.

Livestock owners must be assured of the traceability of their feedingstuffs.

Compound feeds used must not contain unacceptable animal or poultry by-products. All feedstuffs must comply with UK and EU legislation and be stored in an appropriate manner. Lists of compound feed ingredients must be available.
