120 pig unit tour - 1st stage accommodation
- The pig are weaned into flat deck accomodation
- Each room is operated on an all in - all out basis
- Pigs are stocked at 0.2 sqm/pig
- Ad lib dry feeders are used
- The four rooms are accessed by a main passage.
- The ventilation controls and lights are positioned in the passage
- The pigs can be viewed through windows in the passage
- These windows also act as drop out panels
